In Loving Memory
In Loving Memory is an interactive performance installation created by Bridget Russon and myself, featuring archival film, sound design, and a unique offering for viewers to draw on the walls of the space. The live performance explores the end of childhood and the awakening of adult life, blending elements of a birthday party, funeral, and rite of passage. Inspired by religious readings and childhood experiences, the project uses spoken-word eulogy, live soundscapes, film, and live art to explore the process of aging, loss of the ability to play, and self-awareness.
